Care requirements

Food: Feed a complete, balanced kitten food 3–4 small meals a day. Fresh water should always be available. Avoid cow’s milk. * Litter box: Provide a clean, easily accessible litter box. Scoop it daily and use unscented, kitten-safe litter. * Veterinary care: At 12 weeks, the kitten should be seeing a veterinarian for vaccinations, parasite/deworming care, and a general health check. Discuss the appropriate schedule for boosters, microchipping, and spaying/neutering. * Safe environment: Keep the kitten indoors in a kitten-proofed area. Secure electrical cords, small objects, toxic plants, medications, and cleaning products. Keep windows and balconies safely screened. * Play & exercise: Provide several short play sessions each day with safe toys. Avoid toys with loose strings or small pieces that can be swallowed. * Socialization: Gentle handling and positive experiences with people, household sounds, grooming, and appropriate carriers help build confidence. * Sleep: Kittens sleep a lot—often 16–20 hours a day—so provide a warm, quiet, comfortable sleeping area.
